Mama Ellen was bred as a baby at a backyard hobby farm where things got out of control. She delivered her twins Bozzie and Harper two weeks after her 1st birthday was petrified of people.
Ellen was tested positive for a common disease in goats but thankfully, this one can be managed very easily and will not affect her quality of life. The abscess was isolated, small and now has been removed.
Due to herd management at commercial farms, she would most likely be culled (killed)… we are so incredibly grateful that she and her babies found refuge with us where she will live a long life full of love and kindness.
