After a year of canceling all our fundraising events, we came back strong with an Evening Under the Stars for our 2021 Fundraising Gala on July 24th! It was amazing to come together in person for such a magical night for the animals. The backdrop, the barn at The Vineyard 1924, was gorgeous! The fun for the evening began when guests arrived! They were greeted with a glass of sparkling Chardonnay and scrumptious passed vegan appetizers. Beautiful silent auction items, like a hand-crafted wood wine rack and curated gift baskets, to name a few, were available for guests to bid on before entering the open-sided barn for a special dinner.
Shoot for Tuesday serenaded guests while they enjoyed a four-course farm-to-table vegan meal prepared with local fruits and vegetables by Chef Carlo Fernando Guardado. A live auction spiced things up, and the room got especially electrified when special guest Amy Burkman live painted paintings of Mama Joy & Tuna as part of the live auction. Guests that attended will not forget what a fantastic evening it was!
