Meet Sully, the newest whirlwind of energy to join the Sale Ranch family! From the moment she arrived, Sully has been a busy little tornado—running up a storm with dust flying, burning off all that toddler energy, only to pass out for a quick nap and then do it all over again. She’s such a joy and lifts our spirits with her playful antics. Watching her reminds us of a playful puppy, full of joy and innocence. We are so grateful that she’s now safe with us, a friend to be cherished, not food to be consumed.
A Safe Haven for Sully and Her Family
Sully, along with her mother and siblings, arrived at the animal shelter seeking refuge. Thanks to the incredible work of dedicated sanctuaries, all of them have found forever homes where they can live out their natural lives in peace. For us at Sale Ranch, Sully is a particularly special addition, as she’ll be a new friend to our beloved Cherry Blossom. We’re overjoyed to have found CB a companion and even more grateful to have saved Sully from a life of exploitation.
Breaking Free from a Life of Exploitation
In the world of animal agriculture, female pigs often endure a heartbreaking cycle of continual breeding until their bodies are utterly depleted. But for Sully, this narrative ends here. She will never know that life of suffering and instead will grow up surrounded by love and care at Sale Ranch.
Sully’s Quarantine and Health Care
Sully will spend the next few weeks in quarantine, as is standard for all new arrivals. Dr. Rosen will soon visit to conduct her intake exam and schedule her spay. In the short time she’s been with us, Sully has already stolen our hearts with her spirited personality.
