A Different Kind of Thanksgiving Celebration
At Gracegiving, the turkeys are guests of honor, the harvest is made for sharing, and Thanksgiving takes on a whole new meaning.
Join us for Sale Ranch’s cherished autumn tradition—an intimate evening of exceptional food, live music, and wonderful company in the peaceful gardens of the sanctuary.
Imagine arriving as the afternoon sun softens over the gardens. Seasonal appetizers are being passed, drinks are poured, and there’s time to visit with the animal residents who call this beautiful place home.
Then comes one of our most treasured traditions: the Blessing of the Turkeys. A moment to honor these remarkable animals and celebrate their lives.
As evening settles in, take your place at our community tables beneath the market lights. A seasonal feast is served family-style, dishes are passed among friends old and new, and live music fills the evening air.
After dinner, the garden bonfire offers another warm place to gather, enjoy each other’s company, listen to music, and take in the peaceful beauty of Sale Ranch beneath the open sky.
It’s a tradition our guests return to year after year, and one we’re delighted to share with those joining us for the first time.
The Culinary Experience
Scratch House | Chefs Grant Plummer & Tony Howe
San Diego chefs Grant Plummer and Tony Howe bring their culinary creativity and passion for exceptional plant-based food to the Gracegiving table. Known for their inventive approach to scratch-made cuisine, the chefs will create an exclusive autumn menu featuring fresh produce harvested from the Sale Ranch gardens, alongside other locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Expect bold flavors, thoughtful preparation, and a feast celebrating the very best of the harvest.
Live Music | Travis Guilliams
Local singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Travis Guilliams brings his distinctive blend of folk, blues, jazz, and familiar favorites to Gracegiving. His warm, engaging sound provides the perfect accompaniment to an evening of good food, easy conversation, and gathering beneath the stars.

Your $150 ticket includes:
- Passed seasonal appetizers to begin the celebration
- A chef-created, family-style supper featuring locally sourced ingredients
- Dessert to finish the meal
- Hosted adult beverages and nonalcoholic refreshments
- Our traditional Blessing of the Turkeys
- Live music by Travis Guilliams
- A garden bonfire as the evening winds down
Dinner is served at open community tables, primarily seating 10 guests. Come with friends, share a table with fellow supporters, and enjoy the relaxed hospitality that makes Gracegiving such a favorite.

A fully plant-based seasonal supper. For dietary needs or food allergies, please email info@saleranch.org in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What to Wear
Comfortable evening attire and practical footwear for garden paths and uneven ground. Bring a warm layer or blanket for cooler evening temperatures.

Parking
Complimentary on-site parking. Detailed arrival directions will be emailed to registered guests before the event.
Weather & Cancellation Policy
Gracegiving takes place entirely outdoors and is subject to suitable weather conditions. If Sale Ranch must cancel due to weather, all ticket purchases will be refunded in full. Registered guests will be notified by email of any cancellation.
